11 am - The Battle for Papelotte: Waterloo 1815, By Charles Torok
The morning of June 18th, 1815 found Wellington in a strong position on a ridge line south of the village of Waterloo. In front of the ridge and to the extreme west was the country farm of Hougomont. In front of the ridge and in the center was the chateau of La Haye Sainte. Both of these chateaus were fortified and garrisoned and awaiting the French attack. In front of the ridge and to the east was the village of Papelotte, also garrisoned, which commanded the road to Wavre down which the Prussians would have to march. Wellington knew he must hold Papelotte at all costs in order to ensure a juncture with the Prussians.
Two allied commanders (British, Hanoverian, Dutch and Belgium; and possibly Prussian) face two French players trying to wrestle the town of Papelotte from British control.
Rules are home grown, using the Regiment as the basic unit. Players will command divisions with plenty of chances for reserves depending on events on the table top.

12 Noon - Sidi Bou Zid, WWII, By Greg
On the 24th of February 1943, the German launched Operation "Spring Wind." Lead elements of the 10th Panzer Division (Kampf Gruppe Reiman) advanced along the main road from Fiad towards Sberia and the Kasserine Pass where they where intercepted by elements of Combat Command A, 1st US Armored Division from Sidi Bou Zid. The good news is that the US proudly deployed its newly issued M4 Sherman tank but the bad news is that the Germans operation includes their 1st use of the Tiger I tank in North Africa. This is their first meeting!
"Alger climbed into the turret of the battalion command tank and at 1300 received the order to begin the attack. As Alger's tank moved into position with Company D, Stack watched the formation pass by from his lofty command post on Djebel Hamra. He was pleased that the attacking force was moving with parade ground precision and keeping proper intervals. It was an organized, perfect, textbook movement-just as if the battalion were going on maneuvers, not rolling to meet a deadly foe. As Stack scanned Sidi Bou Zid through field glasses, the "Stars and Stripes Forever" blasted from a truck radio on the plain below. The small troop moved out into the open desert, fully exposed to the enemy."
